There are plans to revamp and diversify a building in the heart of Douglas.
Ocean Waves Ltd. is looking to change the use at 11 Castle Street to house a shop and cafe/restaurant on the ground floor and to provide residential and tourist accommodation on its first floor.
In its proposals, the company says the ground floor set up could also be used as a 'pop-up shop' to encourage business to trade on the high street.
Meanwhile, the organisation has also put in a separate application to get a digital screen installed there.
