The number of people ending up in Accident & Emergency because of drugs almost halved last year, according to Manx Care figures.
A Freedom of Information request asked how many people had emergency treatment at hospital because of illegal drugs over the past five years.
In its response, Manx Care said last year 13 people had arrived in A&E with drug complications like overdoses or seizures - compared to 23 in the previous 12 months.
And out of 169 cases over five years, 90 involved cocaine, heroin, morphine, cannabis or ketamine.
