An 82-year-old local man will appear in court, in relation to offences alleged to have been committed at the former Knottfield children’s home in Douglas.
Police confirmed the news earlier today, but have not named the individual.
Officers say the 82-year-old will appear in court, on a date to be set.
The offences were allegedly committed in the 1970’s and 80's.
