multiple vehicle collision forces closure of Ramsey to Laxey coast road at very busy time
There was a four-vehicle road traffic collision yesterday, which forced the closure of the Laxey to Ramsey coast road at a very busy time.
It occurred at approximately 3.45pm near to the Hibernia junction.
The collision involved a red coloured Honda motorcycle, a white Triumph Scrambler bike, a red Renault Megane and a white Vauxhall van.
The passenger on the Triumph bike sustained serious injuries and was taken to Nobles hospital, no other persons were injured as a result of the collision.
At the time of the collision, the Laxey to Ramsey Coast Road was busy due to the TT Course being closed for racing.
Anyone with information is asked to come forward.
