There's some exciting news for films fans across the Island, the Palace cinema has brought in the latest technology, costing almost £200,000, meaning we can now watch films there in 3D.
It's a first for the Isle of Man, giving their facilities a much needed upgrade.
The first film to be shown is the multi award winning Avatar. The glasses are state of the art 3D Sony glasses and will be provided by the Palace cinema.
Adrian Brockhouse, the Director of Leisure for the Sefton Group says it's exciting news for the Island, and it's here to stay (audio above).
All future 3D films, including the upcoming Toy Story 3, will be shown on the screens. Tune into the 3FM Breakfast show this week for your chance to be at the Islands first ever 3D screening on Friday.
