27 more buildings being considered for protected status has been welcomed by Manx National Heritage.
14 maritime buildings and 13 war memorials across Manx shores were issued with Proposal to Register Notices (PRNs) last Friday.
Several of those are owned by MNH including the Nautical Museum in Castletown and the two Robert Louis Stevenson-designed lighthouses on the Calf of Man.
Currently, there are 275 buildings across the Island - ranging from thatched cottages to churches - which are on the Register.
