The company behind proposals for a major £25-million complex in Douglas says it could support hundreds of jobs.
Kane Ltd. plans include a seven-screen cinema, six-storey car park, restaurants, stores and apartments at the site known as Quayside North.
They say constructing the project could support 130 jobs - and then 110 full-time positions once it is up and running.
Subject to the plans being approved, work on the site - based at the former Lord Street bus station - could start early next year.
