The 2020 budget is 'building on the foundations' which have been set previously.
That's according to Treasury Minister, Alf Cannan MHK, who announced how the government plans to use taxpayers money in Tynwald yesterday.
Mr Cannan adds sustainability is a key theme while also 'addressing challenges presented by local and international economic conditions'.
Among the key topics are a fourth consecutive rise in personal tax allowance as well as targeted increases in benefits and allowances for parents, carers, pensioners and people with disabilities.
