200 performers taking part in Christmas concert

200 performers will take part in the Manx Youth Orchestra's Christmas concert.

This year's programme includes traditional carols, orchestral classics and a new Manx folk themed piece commissioned by Culture Vannin.

Featuring nine groups of young musicians and 10 conductors - the event will take place at the Villa Marina on December 6th at 7:30pm.

All of the money raised will be used to subsidise the senior orchestra's forthcoming tour.
