A new 10-year strategy to improve support for carers has been launched.
The Carers Strategy 2024-34 highlights the importance of carers in the community, with the aim of setting a 'blueprint' to see carers as individuals with their own needs.
It's written by the Department of Health and Social Care and Crossroads Isle of Man, to be discussed at the June Tynwald sitting.
If approved, it would address issues raised in the State of Caring Report, in which carers expressed the challenges they face in their role, as well as the impact on their wellbeing and physical health.
