£10 million transfer approved to plug health overspend

Health bosses are working 'diligently' to try and improve the financial situation of the Island's health service.

That's the message from the Health and Social Care Minister following a plea to Tynwald for almost £10 million to cover overspending:

Excess costs have been incurred in the 2015/2016 financial year from treating mental health problems, sending patients to the UK for treatment and in catering services.
