Douglas council says the capital has 49 dilapidated or ruinous buildings.
The last meeting of the local authority's environmental Services Committee heard there had been two new properties added to its blacklist.
But two properties have also come off the list because work had been carried out.
The committee heard the 49 outstanding represented 0.3 per cent of the total buildings in Douglas.
