The Isle of Man Government has implemented the annual pay award for teachers for this year.
A pay increase of 2.75 per cent has been brought in for teachers and school leaders.
Teachers’ pay in the Isle of Man is linked to the pay settlement for teachers in England set out each year by the UK Secretary of State for Education.
Graham Cregeen Minister for Education, Sport and Culture said: ‘Implementing this year’s pay increase from within existing budgets, provides certainty and clarity for school leaders and teachers, enabling them to continue to deliver high quality education.'
