A new scheme has been launched today aimed at supporting industries of strategic importance which have been hit by the Coronavirus outbreak.
The Business Capacity Scheme from the Department for Enterprise was announced by Enterprise Minister, Laurence Skelly MHK, who’s been addressing the media this afternoon.
Mr Skelly says it will begin by offering support to the tourism accommodation sector which has been particularly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
For this, a tiered range of financial help will be offered based on a number of aspects including average revenue per room and occupancy rates.
