Should incoming phone calls have to display the caller's real number?
That's the question the Island's telecoms regulator is asking as it looks into Calling Line Identification.
The Communications and Utilities Regulatory Authority says sometimes companies change the number to hide direct-dial extension numbers or to call on behalf of client firms - but it can also allow scammers to pretend to be other people.
