Player scoops Manx company's £5.8m jackpot

A player on one of Manx-based Microgaming's online slot machine has landed a jackpot of almost £5.8 million.

The company, based on Circular Road in Douglas, says the winner scooped its progressive slot machine to pick up €6.6 million.

The player - identified only by the initials CF - scored the win on Tuesday, as they played on a mobile device.

David Reynolds, games publisher at Microgaming, congratulated the player, saying the Mega Moolah jackpot holds world records for the largest online slot machine jackpot and the largest ever mobile jackpot win.
