Manx Telecom is partnering up with two local charities to help the elderly get online.
The company's working with Live at Home and Southern Befrienders to assist older people surf the internet, set up email accounts and use social media.
MT says as most older people didn't grow up with the technology it can seem unfamiliar and daunting, so wanted to tackle the problem head-on.
The company says the elderly not being able to access the internet can result in them feeling lonely or isolated, so it's paired up with the two charities to launch a digital inclusion initiative.
