ManSat has given three students the opportunity to travel to space school to study this summer.
The pupils from Ramsey Grammar, Castle Rushen and King Williams will be spending two weeks at the NASA United Space School.
The Manx satellite firm runs the yearly competition - asking students to write essays on three space related subjects in the chance to win a scholarship for the trip.
30 Manx students have travelled to the United States since the competition started in 2000.
Rose ten Donkelaar, Laurence Couch and Julius Herzig will travel to Houston to study with astronauts, engineers and scientists and help plan a simulated mission to Mars.
