The enterprise minister says an updated labelling scheme for Manx produce is set to be unveiled next year.
Tim Johnston was asked about the Manx provenance label scheme by Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse in Tynwald this week.
Mr Johnston says Business Isle of Man will work with the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture on options for improving the project..
He explained it would be based on a survey on local buying habits carried out in summer.
