Local businesses, charities, organisations and the community have offered their support after pleas for the Island to rehome refugees.
Last week a petition, with more than 1,000 signatures, was handed to the Chief Minister urging the Council of Ministers to consider accepting 25 refugees who have fled from Syria.
People offered their skills, resources and some offered their homes - under the resettlement programme government would pay for the refugees from the overseas aid budget.
