Jackpot for egaming firms at industry awards

A number of Island egaming companies have been honoured by an industry magazine.

This year's EGR B2B Awards from eGaming Review magazine saw Manx-based Playtech win five awards including best Bingo Supplier, Poker Network, Poker Software, Multi-Channel Supplier and Platform of the Year.

Continent 8 won Datacentre of the Year award and Microgaming scooped the best Mobile Gaming Software award.

Director of e-Business at the Department of Economic Development, Jonathan Mills, says the awards show the Island's e-business sector is thriving.
