An Isle of Man tech company tackling food waste has been nominated for the Earthshot Prize.
Gander, an app that allows shoppers to find reduced-price food in Shoprite stores, was originally launched on the Island and is being rolled out across the world.
It has now been nominated for the prestigious award, which was set up by Sir David Attenborough and Prince William in 2020 to tackle environmental problems facing the planet.
The app has already helped save 25,000 tonnes of CO2 and prevented 24 million food items from being thrown away since 2019.
