The inventor who founded Manx company Strix is selling part of his valuable clock collection.
Dr John Taylor OBE has been collecting clocks for more than 50 years, and has organised a two-art sale which began this week.
The timepieces on offer include an 18th-century clock worth around £3.5 million.
The sale takes place at Ronald Phillips of London and Carter Marsh & Co in Winchester until July 24.
