The Island's information commissioner is joining forces with Jersey to understand the data protection challenges faced by organisations.
The Information Commissioner's Office is emailing companies and bodies registered with it to ask them to take part in an anonymous survey.
It will cover data sharing, training, impact assessments, right of access and managing data breaches.
Results from the questionnaire will be released in January.
