'Great' news for Port Erin gift shop

A shop in Port Erin has been named as a finalist for a national gift shop award for the sixth time.

Mantons Cards is one of six independent companies, and a number of national retailers, from across the UK to make it to the final of The Great Awards.

The awards are now in their 15th year and recognise the best gift retailers - finalists are chosen by a panel of trade experts.

Owner Chris Beards says it's a "fantastic motivation" for the team especially in light of the regeneration work going on in the town.

The awards will be announced on May 4th.
