A business firm has released a new guide to help companies get to grips with changes to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Grant Thornton, whose Island base is on Athol Street in Douglas, have brought out the 64-page publication for chief financial officers to give awareness of the changes.
Associate director, Lisa Lord, says changes can be onerous and it will be of 'significant value' to officials and directors with financial responsibilities.
Every year the IFRS standards alter, with new standards, interpretations and amendments published that can affect financial reporting requirements.
