A Douglas-based trust fiduciary firm has completed its acquisition of an international company.
Boston Multi Family Office has confirmed its acquisition of IQE Ltd has received approval from the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority.
The move was first announced back in August and is the first acquisition the Manx organisation has made since its management buyout in October 2019.
Boston CEO Katherine Ellis says: "We are delighted to welcome our new colleagues and clients to the Boston family.
"Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this acquisition was, by necessity, managed entirely remotely so it is very pleasing that we can now work together as one team.
The company adds whilst it'll be business as usual for clients in the short term, it hopes the deal will offer additional services such as providing sponsor services for securities to be listed on The International Stock Exchange to its wider customer base.
