Douglas customer service champion announced

The winner of this years Douglas customer service champion has been revealed.

Jo Tate from Boots takes the top prize after finishing ahead of competition from eight others for the title.

Presenting her with the award, Mayor of Douglas, Jon Joughin, praised all the finalists for championing 'physical shopping' in the face of rising competition from online retail.

He adds 'bricks and mortars investment' in the town along with financial commitment from Douglas Borough Council will improve the shopping experience in the Island capital once the Douglas Promenade refurbishment is complete.
