The Department for Enterprise has launched a consultation asking businesses and the public for their views on electronic transactions.
Following an increase in use of digital services, especially throughout the pandemic, there's a call to update the Electronic Transactions Act 2000, which covers purchases from credit and debit cards, bank transfers and digital signatures.
The consultation seeks views from the public and private sectors on the Island's current legal framework and how it can be improved.
The deadline is October 29, and if you wish to take part you can find the consultation on the government website.
