A Crosby company using AI to create an app that combats dementia is in the running to win a £1 million prize.
Memory Lane Games, founded by Bruce Elliot and Peter Quayle, is taking part in the Longitude Prize on Dementia - a contest part-funded by Alzheimer's Society.
Its digital reminiscence platform uses Artificial Intelligence to help track the health of users and provide personalized content.
It's now made it through to the semi-finals of the competition, winning an £80,000 grant, and will battle 23 other contestants to become one of five finalists.
