An egaming site that specialises in cryptocurrency betting has been given a licence by the Gambling supervision Commission.
Bitblox, which has registered offices on Circular Road in Douglas, lets players bet on fluctuations in the price of crypto tokens such as Bitcoin.
The company says it can now provide its games to operators and aggregators in markets covered by the licence.
It says it hopes to expand with free-to-play and real money tournaments, as well as adding social engagement to its games.
