An Island developer has applied to demolish a gas storage facility in the south of the Island and turn the site into storage.
Haven Homes says it wants to tear down the unit on the Balthane Industrial Estate in Ballasalla.
The company would level the site and then use it to store vehicles, containers and building materials.
In its application Haven Homes says it would use earth from one side of the site to raise the other, levelling it out.
