Manx cycling star Mark Cavendish has joined the likes of football star Cody Gakpo and MotoGP rider Cal Crutchlow in a sport investment fund.
The Elite Performance Venture Capital Fund run by sports investment firm Apex says the Manx Missile is one of its high-profile investors.
The company launched the £43 million fund last September for top-level athletes.
The fund invests in companies across sports, media and entertainment.
