A business is asking people to check their emergency equipment will still work after the Island's copper phone network is turned off.
Work will begin soon to switch over to other services - with the last analogue lines being shut off in 2029.
Adorn, which provides emergency carephones and pendants to vulnerable and elderly people, says cheaper equipment may not work on the new system.
Nicola Walton says the devices, which automatically call for help, need to be tested to ensure they're compatible with the copper lines' replacement.
