'Big Weekend' tourism event this week

An event showcasing the quality and variety of tourism attractions on the Island takes place this weekend.

Visit Isle of Man is hosting 'On Your Doorstep - One Big Weekend' on Saturday and Sunday, giving a chance for residents to experience attractrions, activities for free, at reduced prices or through taster sessions.

Speaking recently, MHK Rob Callister says he's 'delighted' with the number of businesses taking part, adding it will showcase the strength of the Isle of Man tourism sector.
