Around 20 percent of local companies say they wouldn't recommend the Island as a place to do business.
The figure is from the government's latest Business Environment and Conditions Survey.
It's up from seven per cent of companies who were asked eight years ago.
The survey says only a minority of businesses consider the Island an easy place to operate.
