A mechanic from the south of the Island will contest a seat at this year's election.
Mark Firth says he'll stand for the House of Keys in Arbory, Castletown and Malew during September's polls.
On Facebook, he says he's lived on the Island for 25 years and grew up in the south of the Island.
Outside work, he's been a performer, promoter and sound engineer in the Island's live music scene for the last decade.
