Create and decorate your own strawberry-themed ceramic flowerpot in this hands-on workshop. Each pot features a raised strawberry design, ready for you to bring to life with colour, patterns, and your own ideas.
Use paints and pens to design bold fruit patterns, decorate the leaves and seeds, or turn your pot into something completely different. Once finished, you can take it home and use it for a small plant or succulent.
This session focuses on creativity, colour, and simple making skills in a relaxed environment.

Rushen Abbey has a strong link with the Isle of Man’s food history. Just down the road in Ballasalla, the former jam factory once produced large quantities of fruit preserves, at its peak reaching up to 14 tons of bottled fruit each year. Run by Messrs Woods and Hardon, it gained national recognition for its quality, winning a gold medal at the Liverpool Exhibition in 1886. This workshop takes inspiration from that local heritage, giving a nod to the Isle of Man’s fruity past while you create your own strawberry-themed designs.
