Plans to outsource the running of the TT to Vision Nine have been scrapped.
The Department of Economic Development says it's decided to ‘discontinue the current independent promoter tender process’.
It follows discussions with other departments over the TT and Classic TT races – the department says it has formally informed Vision Nine of its decision.
DED says it is aware of the company’s intention to issue legal proceedings against it and as such the matter is now ‘sub judice’.
