Video doorbell could land you £10,000 fine

Those with video doorbells are reminded to check if they need to register them.

The Information Commissioner says if your doorbell or CCTV records outside the boundary of your property, you should register it and pay a fee.

Failure to register and pay the £70 fee could lead to a fine of up to £10,000.
