The President of Tynwald has returned from Iceland after representing the Island at the Union Treaty celebrations that took place there.
MLC Steve Rodan called the occasion an 'honour' which was held at the Icelandic parliament.
He added it's important that the Isle of Man could 'forge new links of it's own post-brexit' after he met and spoke with different officials at the event.
The Union Treaty between Iceland and Denmark saw Iceland become a sovereign state back in 1918.
