A Douglas woman who's been accused of impersonating a police officer in a busy shopping street will stand trial.
22-year-old Jodi-Layne Gush appeared before Magistrates at Douglas Courthouse yesterday where she denied the offence.
She also entered not guilty pleas to charges of affray and possession of an air pistol - an item deemed an offensive weapon.
The offences are alleged to have taken place on May 18th outside the Isle of Man Post Office in Regent Street in Douglas.
Charges of possessing a regulated weapon without a certificate and making threats to kill or cause serious injury were withdrawn.
The case is due to be committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery on July 21st.
There was no application for bail and she was remanded at the Isle of Man Prison until her next appearance on June 23rd.
