Taxpayers aren't paying for new wind farm plans

There will be no cost to the Island as new wind farm plans are explored.

Yesterday the Isle of Man Government signed a lease agreement with DONG Energy which will allow it to explore the viability for the renewable energy source.
 
The energy company will now start a full investigation into the site off the north east coast as well as looking at shipping routes, wildlife and public opinion.
 
Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly explains why it's positive for taxpayers:
