Could the Pulrose community take over a local pub which is doomed for closure?
The Pinewood is currently owned and run by Heron and Brearley - last week it announced it would be closing it down.
Douglas South MHK Bill Malarkey says he's been in talks with the company, and local residents, to see if there's another way forward.
He believes residents want the pub - which has been running for around 30 years - to remain open as it's an important place for the local community to come together.
Mr Malarkey will be hosting a public meeting at the venue tomorrow at 6pm so people can share their views:
