Shared service centres to save government millions

Government says it can save £4 million in three years by creating shared service centres.

A number of back office and support functions are to be consolidated in an effort to be more cost efficient.

The changes come after plans to streamline government by changing its structure were approved in Tynwald.

They’ll come into effect from April 1st.
