'Santa's on a Bike' is back, with a brand new route

One of the most anticipated events of the festive season is set to make its return this year, with a brand new route.

Santa's on a Bike will this year take place on Decemeber 9th, and will see hundreds of motorbike fans gather at the TT Grandstand for 9.00am before embarking on the charity festive ride out, with all proceeds going to Rebecca House Children's Hospice.

Plan.com will be hosting the event, which last year had to be cancelled due to the weather.

This year the riders will follow the TT course before turning left at Ballig Bridge and heading to Peel, they'll then take the A1 toward St John's before taking a right at Tynwald. The route back to Douglas will take them through Foxdale, turning left at Cooil Roundabout before taking a left at the quarterbridge and finishing up at Rebecca House.

As always those taking part are encouraged to get into the spirit of things and decorate their bikes accordingly, so it won't look out of place in the 'motorcade of merriness'.
