Restaurant's stolen lighting balls recovered

Officers appealed for help earlier this week after two spherical lighting balls were taken from Vellika's restaurant.

 

Using Facebook they urged the person responsible to come forward and 'do the right thing' - that post reached 12,000 people. 

 

The items worth £200 have now been recovered - police say excellent CCTV and a 'caring community' makes for a 'powerful alliance' in the town.
