Prince Charles to visit Island

Buckingham Palace has announced a visitor to the island next year.

Its been confirmed that the Prince of Wales will visit the Isle of Man next year as part of the British monarch’s diamond jubilee celebrations.

It’s still unconfirmed when Prince Charles will make his visit but a possible appearance near Tynwald Day seems most likely.

The confirmation came from Buckingham Palace, which also stated where other members of the royal family would be visiting during 2012.

Charles’s wife Camilla is not currently scheduled to accompany him on his Manx visit.
