A Douglas man who's been accused of punching his girlfriend in the face has been further remanded at the Isle of Man Prison.
30-year-old Geoffrey Ronald Barber, of Mona Drive, appeared at Douglas Courthouse earlier this week.
He chose not to enter a plea to assault causing grievous bodily harm - the offence was allegedly carried out at his home on March 18th.
The court heard the alleged victim, who is 23, suffered a fracture to her face.
The case will be elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery - there was no application for bail and he was remanded at the prison until his next appearance on May 23rd.
