The Festival of Motorcycling could see a one-way system on the Mountain Road next year.
The road's currently two-way during the fortnight - unlike the TT period.
Departmental member with responsibility for motorsport Rob Callister MHK says he would be happy if a one way system was brought in.
But he says evidence about traffic accidents has to be considered before a decision is made:
